For years, I worked in the commercial cleaning industry, learning that cleaning is about more than making buildings shine. Through that experience, I discovered something even more meaningful—the greatest impact wasn't in the buildings we cleaned, but in the lives we could change.
Along my journey, I had the privilege of working with individuals diagnosed with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). I witnessed incredible talents, strong work ethics, genuine kindness, and an eagerness to contribute. Yet I also saw many of them face barriers to employment and opportunities that most people take for granted.
That experience changed my perspective forever.
